King of the Monsters Records celebrated 31 years in operation with a truly “monstrous” fest that brought together some bands who had been on hiatus for nearly three decades, and introduced us to a ton of incredible newer groups.

After waiting nearly three decades, I finally got to see Texas Is The Reason at a small club in Chicago, with one of my other favorite bands, Samiam, all thanks to Riot Fest 2025.
