Your girl on the rail sat down with Eric Blackbird to talk about the rise of Black Bird Records, after attending the debut of the label’s first album and a performance by Jackie Mendez.

This year’s backyard fundraiser did not disappoint, featuring: Jack Black, Lt. Jim Dangle, ¾ of The Go-Go’s, Kathleen Hannah, Fred Armisen, Margaret Cho, and many more.

It was a “Special” night at Punk Rock Bowling as Lynval Golding performed with The Aggrolites, accompanied by a lineup of ska royalty including The Toasters, Mephiskapheles, Calmatix, and The Kilograms.
