Dick’s Favorite 26 Unreleased Dick Pics of 2025

I put the photos in chronological order except the last one; it's just my favorite

Editor’s note: We genuinely thought Dick would censor his own name in the title again so we wouldn’t have to deal with Facebook’s delicate sensibilities. Apparently not. Thanks, Dick.

In February I landed a gig as a photographer at Give a Fuck Los Angeles at the Hollywood Palladium, hosted by actor and comedian John C. Reilly in support of LA Fire Relief. It featured an all-star lineup of hugely popular bands, most of them headliners I had never even heard of. (Because I am an old punk coot,) I knew a few: The Linda Lindas, Starcrawler, Reggie Watts, Paramore, Juliette Lewis, and, of course, Rebecca Black. The rest? I was completely in the dark. As it turns out, there was some Hollywood bullshit behind the scenes, and the outlet never ran my photos.

It was my first exposure to St. Vincent; she killed it. I am now a fan.

The event closed with about half the stars performing the theme from the TV show The O.C. It was kind of fun watching the Linda Lindas and Arrow from Starcrawler pretending they knew the words. The event raised a serious amount of money and gave the celebrities a chance to feel good about themselves for the minimum amount of effort to help and/or capitalize on wildfire victims who, more than a year later, are still living in RVs outside their burned-out homes and getting hassled by the city for it.

It’s been a big year for Heroes Black and Green, the Knuckleheadz band. The gentlemen traveled and played countless shows. They had Vest/Cut put up at the Punk in the Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas. Oh, and the boys had a feature in the Los Angeles Times and a couple in ISM before that, written by yours truly. The photo below is one of many the Times would not use because someone had their middle finger displayed.

SAVE AMERICA. GIVE THE KNUCKLEHEADZ YOUR CHILDREN.

I got to shoot the Cruel World Fest in Pasadena for the Times. Kim Moenich covered it for ISM. I think I got the better deal; I didn’t have to write anything, I got to shoot from the photo pit, and Nick Cave didn’t step on my boob, unlike Kim. Here are a few shots they didn’t use.

What would a best-of-the-year piece be without photos from the year’s pilgrimage to Las Vegas for Punk Rock Bowling? Sadly, we’ll find out next year, as PRB is on hiatus and the venue is gone. So no matter what the future holds, it will be different.

Bootsy Collins performing at a PRB club show. This is what he did: never picked up a bass. People seemed to enjoy it.

This magnificent spaceman of a man is Hambone of the Rifleman String Band and the reason I’m thinking about bringing back Punk Hunks.

One of the reasons if Punk Hunks does come back, there will be no voting on the monthly winners. as I put Keith Morris in like 10 times as a nominee, and he never won.

We don’t call them the Kitty Crew for nothing.

I went to the “Army” Trump Birthday War on America festival in Washington, DC. It was easily one of the most surreal experiences of my life: tanks and cannons parked on the lawn where MLK gave his “I Have a Dream” speech, children climbing on military equipment and posing for photos with real guns, and giant posters of Donald Trump’s face looming from buildings like Big Brother. Recruiting booths for the military and government agencies like ICE and TSA lined the walkways every few yards.

I’m hoping that with ISM’s new policy that not everything has to be happy and positive all the time, and with the new disclaimer in place, our overlords at ISM will see fit to run the article I wrote about it.

I don’t think this is “Great” at all

I was lucky enough to travel to Berlin to see the always incredible Iggy Pop. This incarnation of the show featured an all-star band of musical geniuses. It was one of the best Iggy shows I have ever seen, and I have seen a few. Iggy is set to play Mosswood Meltdown and Coachella this summer. Don’t miss your chance to see Iggy Pop.

We knew our beloved Rebellion Festival in Blackpool, UK, had to be included. Instead of the usual stage shots, I wanted to use offstage photos of the people who, to me, make Rebellion such an important and special event year after year. The Rebellion family is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a lineup that includes just about every band you have ever wanted to see, plus a couple of hundred more you probably should.

With PRB on a break, and assuming the great leader still allows us to travel overseas in August, this is the year to make the trip. Get your tickets while you still can at REBELLIONFESTIVALS.COM

The Coppo’s. Look up "Rebellion family" in the dictionary, and you will find a photo of these two.

Dirty, Drunko, Megan the Rebel Barber, and not N8noface at Scream and Shake. Megan’s partner Billy Blood Clot just sort of looks like a suave European version of N8 in this photo.
