LEESTOCK 2026: Punk Rock Maximalism
Some festivals carefully curate a lineup.
LEESTOCK 6 looked at that concept, laughed, flipped it the bird, and stuffed more than 100 bands and assorted rapscallions into a single day across two legendary San Francisco stages.
For a very punk $25, Bang the Bay essentially handed attendees a choose-your-own-punk-adventure where missing something incredible wasn't just possible, it was guaranteed. While there may be no way to see everything, there's no way to avoid seeing a ton of great stuff (without losing your shirt), and that kicks ass!

LEESTOCK is about surrendering to the chaos, wandering into your next favorite band totally by accident, and accepting that you're going to leave talking about everything you saw while wondering about everything you missed.
In true DIY fashion, it proves that MORE really is more.
Lee also has a packed calendar ahead. On Aug. 22, Elegant Trash will share the stage at the historic Old Shakespeare Theatre in Orinda with Jimmy Dale, son of surf guitar legend Dick Dale, alongside Dusty Watson (The Sonics) and Penelope Houston (The Avengers), who'll be performing with her new band, The Jailbirds.
The bill also features 15 local bands, making it less of a concert and more of a full-day celebration of Northern California's punk and rock community, a fitting showcase for the scene Lee has spent decades helping build.
